Fluorescent Liquid Hot Lava Half Pan

Liquid Hot Lava is a fiery, fluorescent orange.  Made using eco fluorescent pigments,  and a unique custom formulated binder.  This paint virtually melts when you touch it with a wet brush.  In fact, this paint activates so easily, that it will become tacky when exposed to humid air.

This new generation formaldehyde-free pigment delivers the same color brilliance and stability offered by traditional formaldehyde containing products, with the added benefit of being produced using 26 % of recycled materials. Uncompromising performance, and earth friendly materials which create a unique and stunning visual effect.  However, it is important to note eco fluorescent pigments are manufactured from dyes, and thus are not lightfast.  This means they fade when exposed to direct sunlight.  Fluorescent colours are best enjoyed in journals and other creations kept out of direct sunlight.

Paint with heART uses a unique binder.  Every colour has a custom recipe, adjusted for each pigment, to create the ideal balance between drying and rewetability, colour saturation and fixability.

Lovingly mulled by hand in small batches until a smooth, creamy paint is created.  Consciously tested while developing recipes unique to each colour and pigment.  This paint activates, or rewets, with ease – a single touch with a wet brush releases a vibrant, highly saturated colour.  Half pans are air dried in layers over the course of several weeks, in order to maximize the filling of each pan and reduce cracking.
